Problems with psp PS netowrk

Hey guys im having problems after updating my psp to the newest firmware 5.01 i believe. Im trying to sign up for the play station network on my psp and it just hang forever at the user agreement page while its trying to load it up the agreement. is there an alternate way to sign up for the play station network without a ps3 like maybe on a computer? Any help with this problem would be great. thanks a lot guys!

not that i know of... try reverting to an older firmware and trying to sign up (or use a different psp?)
