I did not see a topic about this, so I thought I would do it.

If other people want advice on the next game to play, by all means, but I finally hooked up my SNES and it has been awhile since I have played some good games.

What game should I play?

Just look through and if you see a fun game, say something.

I am going to play some Zombies Ate my Neighbors tonight just because I have never played it and heard good things.

Here is the list of games I got. After Zombies ate my Neighbors, what should I play after that?

You can never go wrong with a solid game of Super R-Type!

If you don't have it, buy and play Super Metroid. Awesome game.

No contest... Mario Paint.

I would go with TMNT Turtles in Time, especially if you have a friend to go at it with. That being said, Kirby's Avalanche is great on 2 player as well.

A few great choices already...Super Metroid and Zombies Ate My Neighbors are among my favorites. I'm also a huge fan of Super Punch-Out and I also like the first Bubsy game. Am I the only one?

If you're not playing Capcom Soccer Shootout, you're pretty much wasting your time.

The next game you should play is "buy more SNES games". You're missing so many good ones! Super Metroid, Zelda, Chrono Trigger, Contra 3, Super Metroid again because damn...

Turtles IV if you're broke though.

Definitely play Zombies Ate My Neighbors since you haven't yet.

Out of what you have, play some SimCity! It had features not found in the computer versions and is lots of fun. Make sure the battery is good first so you don't save a 5hr city just to see it didn't retain.

Zombies ate my Neighbors is an excellent first pick, especially since Halloween is right around the corner. I played it with a friend last weekend. Turtles In Time is another game that's pretty good on its own, but even better in multiplayer.

And definitely be sure to give Uniracers and Wario's Woods a try.

Shaq-Fu

Play some Jordan Chaos in Windy City, Shaq-Fu has nothing on it.

Are we naming bad games now? If so, try Batman Forever! If you want a decent SNES Batman game, go for either Batman Returns or The Adventures of Batman & Robin (done in the style of the animated series).

Skyblazer or Soulblazer. Two solid games right there and the writing and concept of that writing for Soulblazer is phenominal. That doesn't sound right.

I 2nd this. They aren't too pricey and great fun. Actraiser and Illusion of Gaia are kind of along the same vein.

Lufia 2, Breath of Fire 2, and Ogre Battle.

I haven't seen any RPGs listed so thought I'd throw these out. My three favorite RPGs on the SNES if you don't include FF5 and 6. If you're a new gamer who hasn't ventured outside of Squaresoft RPGs on the SNES, then you'll probably be amazed with these games. It might actually make you look beyond the "Squaresoft" or "Square Enix" logo because there are many other games almost as good as these on the SNES. Alot of good Japan only releases as well.

For a recommended non RPG game, I'd go for Wild Guns(amazing game.) I'll also mention Sunset Riders only because I'm playing it right now(great arcade port.)

I also notice Zombies Ate My Neighbors was on here. Ghoul Patrol is pretty much a sequel, but not as good.

Halloween's creepily approaching, why not pop in Fatal Frame for a night of chills and screams. MUHAHAHA

Or, looking a fiendish with close ones, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii gets my vote. Divergent paths, two player co-op, hidden files and secrets, just when you thought it was over, it gets snaring you back. :vamp:

If you're not playing Capcom Soccer Shootout, you're pretty much wasting your time.

I have played MegaMan Soccer and liked it. How is Capcom Soccer Shootout in comparison to megaman soccer?

The person that recommended Metal Warriors. I love metal warriors, but I am wierd with some systems. I avoid roms just because I love playing games on the system itself, and metal warriors sucks to find under 20, which is why i don't own it.

Shaq-Fu: Crappy game, but I actually like it. I know, let the hisses and boos come, but I like it.

Uniracers: I havent played it in forever. I used to be so good at it to where I could do a 360 flip from just flat land.
