pretty sure the first game (starfox) was released as Arwing in europe. However seeing as this game wasn't released im not sure what the working title was. As for seeing prototype cart stage I wouldn't be surprised to find out there was a prototype cart or two made however they would not have looked anything like this. It is surely a repro there are a number of guides online specifically on how to make this cart. That being said this is a repro id pay upwards of $75 for to save myself the hassle of making my own. And i'll point out one more time that he never specifically states anything that is actually untrue though it is bordering on misleading, and certainly overvalued.
anyone who wants one of these carts without spending an arm and a leg here is the aforementioned guide on how to craft your own.

Mmmm... To make a repro you had to flash a cart that had the FX chip, right ?
Are there any technical limitations to do this repro, like a mod to use that FX chip or you have to flash the rom only ?

You basically just replace the rom chip of the donor cart with an EPROM with Starfox 2 on it. Not much more to it than that. d4s' site has a pretty good step by step guide.

There are some pics of a Starfox 2 cart i built for another DP forum member in this thread;

The cost for me to build it was significantly less than the one on eBay:)
Kind Regards, Andy.

I've got one of these, just American style. Super cool. If you have the equipment and the know-how you can get just about anything on a cart. I got F-Zero 2 made as well.

F-Zero 2?
Was that the one on Satellaview?

i believe it was.... does this mean someone could put radical dreamers onto a repro cart? I'll put a bounty out right here and now $50 will be paid to the person who makes me a radical dreamers cart with the latest fan translation, preferably in an American style cart.

It was indeed. The ROM is readily available. I e-mailed it to the guy who made me the cart and it arrived in the mail a few days later.

Hi there,
Everybody has their own opinion, and i completly respect that.
The new description cleary states its a reproduction.
I Qoute from "MrSparkle":
That being said this is a repro id pay upwards of $75 for to save myself the hassle of making my own. And i'll point out one more time that he never specifically states anything that is actually untrue though it is bordering on misleading, and certainly overvalued.
I just offer a repro cart for some die-hard collectors.
I myself are also a collector of Nintendo-Games, and enjoy every game.
Thankyou, Greetings from The Netherlands.

I was just about to bid on this until I realized ( just look carefully at the auction) why this is a dissapointment.

I think it's kinda shady. He mentioned nothing originally about it being a repro
