Saving in The Saturn Version of Silhouette Mirage

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for such a question, but does anybody know how to save in the Saturn version of Silhouette Mirage?
The game will auto-save if I die, but I do not want to get game over everytime I wish to stop playing.
