Had one traded in today, in good condition. Can't find any on eBay and haven't seen one in awhile. With the FC Mobile out, I'm wondering if this is worth *anything* anymore?

Guesses?

I would say to the right collector, the game axe is still a nice portable famiclone worth at least $50 I would speculate. If it was boxed, obviously it would be worth more.

on an added note, if complete with the cable as mentioned below, worth a little bit more. Even with better portable famiclones out there, this one has some historical significance.

its more durable then most of the current portable famicoms and can be used as a console (has av out jacks) plus its bigger and cooler then the gba looking ones, if I didn't already have one i'd happily pay 50+ for it (paid 90ish for it years ago new)

did it come with the a/v cable? or the player 2 controller? (looks almost ideintical to a saturn one)

No, but it did come with the 72-pin converter to play NES games. Quite a teetering sheath of gaming there.

I was so close to buying one of them years ago. I find the history of the game axe fascinating. I still have a hard time believing it. I think there are great to have but with the portable emu explosion I am not sure of there current worth.

They definitely aren't worth what they use to be. Years ago I would regularly see them selling for $80-100. The last time I saw a complete one(about 6 months ago) it went for alittle more than $60. It's still a nice collectible to have and will definitely get you a good return from interested collectors but I don't think it will ever return to it's heyday prices.

i sold mine a few months back BIN for $105 without the coverter. it was basically like new though and complete... i thought it was pretty much crap, especially considering the game sticks out the top and flaps about when playing with a converter...

hoped itd be more like a portable NES, but i was really concerned the game or converter would break off in the system during play.
