Gamasutra has a post-TGS interview (http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/3836/team_ninja_ready_for_more.php) with Tecmo's now Itagaki-less (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/03/breaking-ninja-gaidens-itagaki-says-sayonara-tecmo-see-you-i/) Team Ninja, in which the reign-holder of such franchises as Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive pretty much shrugs off any remaining traces of platform-exclusivity. In fact, it may even develop for Wii.
Yosuke Hayashi, director of Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3 (a game Itagaki didn't, er, particularly care for (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/21/itagaki-ninja-gaiden-sigma-is-no-good/)), discussed the studio's intent to create a brand new audience on top of its existing one, saying that, "If that lends to one console - PS3, or if that's going to be the Wii - that's just the direction we will go." Hayashi further clarified the approach Team Ninja will take to choosing platforms for its titles going forward, saying, "It really depends on the audience and what we want to deliver, in order to make the most entertaining content."
