Dreamcast for the Sports

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about.

Of these 2 systems, I prefer the Dreamcast for all of the 2K games (including the World Series and NHL stuff). Plus Resident Evil Code Veronica, Virtua Tennis, Soul Calibur, Sega Bass Fishing and Sonic Adventure also help give Dreamcast the upper hand.

But regardless of this debate, I think the Genesis spanks the both of them.

Dreamcast, but in a close one.

That's tough, I really like both systems. Though, I currently only own a Saturn and that'd be my choice. Guardian Heroes + RPGs win it in my book.

The Dreamcast and Crazy Taxi were a major part of my college life, and I wouldn't trade those years for anything, so I'll say Dreamcast. I wouldn't have known anything about the Saturn if it wasn't for my Dreamcast game buying addiction.

Dreamcast.

For the most part, most of the games on the Saturn are also on the Playstation. There are some great games on the system like Dragonforce, Shining Force 3, Albert Odyssey, etc, etc.

However, the Dreamcast had a ton of great games that were actually original during the time of its release(we know alot of these aren't original anymore due to the rereleases on other systems, but during the release of the system they were.) Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, Skies of Arcadia, Phantasy Star Online, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Carrier(decent RE ripoff,) Ikaruga, Lord of the Berserk Guts Revenge, Project Justice Rival Schools 2, Dynamite Cop, and Shenmue to name a few of my favorites.

I guess there's also the fact that I've played alot more Dreamcast games that haven't been on another system than I've played of the Saturn.

They're both shmup monstrosities. That's why it's so difficult to choose but one. Dreamcast slides just under the Saturn in the shmup selection though. Hard to top Radiant Silvergun and Soukyugerentai. That coupling is simply a twitchers bliss. :D

Dreamcast, simply because that's the console that got me back into gaming. The last consoles I owned were the Super NES and the Genesis, and I soon afterwards discovered girls and beer, which were a much better way to spend my weekends than with comic books and Mario.

My friend gave me his Dreamcast when he moved, along with a bunch of Emulator discs and burned games. It rekindled all the old memories and got me back into gaming. The Saturn, while I have collected for it, has very few games that bring me back to it. I guess it's a nostalgia thing- I focus on collecting games I played the first time around. The Saturn just wasn't there.

Man, talk about choices. I have too many fond memories playing both machines to pick just one of them.
