It has a hole cut in it with two chips, the left one says:

I've uploaded a cruddy picture from my cell phone, sorry. It was the best I could do. Anyways, I don't currently have a NES that works, my old box style one won't read games anymore, but I do plan on stopping by the local salvation army and digging one up if anyone wants pix. All I can tell you is that it's some type of demo game. It stars the nes robot:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R.O.B. and it doesn't do much except flash the screen when you press buttons, then the robot drops either a bomb or a brick, then it says "game over." Nothing too interesting, but I figured I might get some info from you fine people. =)

Whoa, they were planning a THIRD game for R.O.B.! I wonder what would have happened if this was actually relesased?

Did you ask the owner of the proto if he's tried it out with an actual R.O.B. robot? It might do more than he's aware of if he doesn't have one hooked up.

No, he doesn't. He's chatted with me back and forth for a few weeks (I've been thinking of buying it) and he doesn't have a ROB. Which is shitty, because the "flashing screen" he mentions is definitely a ROB related thing. (Gyromite does it)

Pachuka and I talked about this before, I'm still of the opinion (given that it says Data East) that if this thing is legit, it might have just been a little internal demo not meant to be a commercial game.
