Sega Master System

I need some help here. I know of a place that has a Sega Master System that is mint and has never been opened. They are selling it for $210 canadian. They won't budge on the price.....believe me I have tried.

What is something like this worth?

It's not a great price, but I can't imagine it's that bad either if it's really unopened...

It has just been collecting dust in a store. I am the only one to actually slide it out of the box. Everything in it was mint.......untouched.

So that's like, what, US$135 (not sure of the current rate)... I could see it going for that on ebay easily.

No way!, especialy since it is opened. If it was still sealed, its an ebay rate for sure, but opened and mint nope (IMO)

Was the box supposed to have a seal closing the ends of the box?

You can easily get a boxed complete SMS for $40, probably less.

I have to agree with the previous post. That sounds like a lot of money for a SMS. $40 for a boxed one seems like a reasonable price I have seen.

I already own a few Sega Master systems. I just wanted a mint one in the box.......for collectings sake.

There is a substantial difference between a complete boxed unit and an unopened unit... keep that in mind.
