By the way, I saw a prototype C65 casing sold on ebay not too long ago. Is this a modification you performed on that casing with a C64DX mainboard?

Hiho,
no, there are no modifications made by me (therefor the proto still works;), I got this proto complete with case and board several years ago. I just used both names C65 and C64DX in case of people might mix up the C64DX with the C64SX portable...

Except the C64DX name is also used for the double disc drive version of the C64SX... hence a small potental confusion issue here. Nevertheless... I will be interested in having a butchers at acquiring said item... about the last thing left on the shopping list aside from a boxed C64GS...
