this snes came in a lot of genesis systems i bought the other day. it works, but has weird graphical glitches. so far, the only thing i've really done with it is clean it. excuse my breathing, i'm sick *_*

Yea, I had one do this too.

And here's the problem: The VRAM goes bad in the area that is used for scaling and rotation, and causes these problems.

The fix? There is non. I lost an SNES to this.

hi i had the same probleam fix it with a new cart slot just like the nes

that never works. ive had a couple of snes decks like this and it appears to be some other proble. ive swapped acrt slots and VRAM and it still didnt fix it, im guessing its either one or both PPUs gone bad or bad WRAM. ive also had snes decks like this that oddly enough, passed the snes testcart lol

Well, at least you have color! :D I have a SNES that shows in black and white only. :(

Swapping VRAM didn't fix it for you? Hmm.

Could just be the PPU shorts out or a failed cap somewhere then.

I notice this only seems to happen to models with an external SPU.

had it happen on later boards too
