Hey guys, how much is a Telegames 2 in 1 system boxed and complete worth?

I couldn't find one on ebay

Thanks

They're hard to find nowadays. Telegames US (based in Lancaster) sold a bunch of them off after some tornado damage to their warehouse, so they're easier to find in the DFW metroplex than anywhere else. I suggest you hang on to it. The second slot that you can't figure out what kind of cartridge goes into it? It's for Sega SG-1000 carts. Sweet!

The main thing is... does it have it's original power supply? It used the same odd power requirements as the original Colecovision, it's just got the round connector that makes the Telegames 2-in-1's power supply even more difficult to replace than Coleco's hard-to-find power brick.

If you keep it, remember that the damn thing has to be put on channel 13 (If I remember right) instead of channel 3 or 4 like US game consoles. At least it has a built-in game that (as far as I know) wasn't released here in the US to compensate for it's oddball design.

i am in burleson so that is the metroplex. I found a guy with 3 of them, 2 boxed, 1 not boxed. So not sure what is a fair price to offer for them

They've showed up on eBay lately for $100 BIN, but there's been no takers on them (or it).

IMO $50 is probably a fair price new in box- I wouldn't pay more than that since there's really no nostalgia attached to them.

No nostalgia, but they are a nice little rarity as far as game consoles go. Essentially they're Colecovision clones that Telegames cut a deal with the Hong Kong manufacturers to get them to badge them with the Telegames name.

Electronic Discount Sales in Arlington and Irving (the Irving location is gone now, unfortunately) had loads of them back in the day, after the big Lancaster tornado in the early '90s. I bought one from there for $8.95. Found a second one a couple of years back with no power supply in a thrift for $4.94. They're interesting little machines. For no reason that I can understand, this Colecovision clone seems to be more reliable than Coleco's own console. Which tells you just how freakin' cheaply made original Colecovisions were, that a fly-by-night clone maker did a better job with the electronics.
