whats a good price for a punchout working cab? a guy at my work is selling his for 450. it seems like a really good price, but was wondering what these usually go for

Thats the one with the wireframe character you control and has 2 sticks for controlers that control the left and right punches?

I paid 450 for mine 6 years ago. It depends on condition. Great one to have Over 20 years old know. Body blow.LOL

Simulated wire-frame, it's all pixels.
One controller, left and right punch buttons and one huge button for "uppercut/hook" power-punch.
Nintendo also used these double-screen cabinets for Super Punch Out, Arm Wrestling, and they later became the blueprint for Play-Choice Ten units.
Though, you may be thinking of that dual-stick boxing game that was in a plastic candy-type cabinet. Can't remember the title off the top of my head.

450.00 is a good deal.
It seems to be a popular title right now with people on arcade collecting sites..
I'd venture to say anywhere between 450.00 to 600.00 is about what they are worth today.
Me, I've been looking and would pay 600.00 for a nicely restored machine.

Actually they I think thats the one I was thinking of lost allot of money to that machine all those years ago.

ok, thanks for the info. i would have thought it would go for more. has anyone ever seen a super punchout? i have yet to see one, even back in the day

I have seen the pcb boards on ebay. and maybe 1 machine availible. The thing that surprised me was like the one poster said it was a double cab and man was it huge in my room bigger than I initailly remembered.
