I am pretty interested as to how the ports are on the PC-Engine. For those who are not aware, apparently a company called "Image" created this and another bootleg card (Famicom collection) for the PC-Engine. Very rare, but I am extremely interested in this one as it supposedly contains ports of Vic-20 games. That is just awesome! You couldn't imagine what joy it would be for me to play "Radar Rat Race" on my TG16. I must find this!

if you want to try it for yourself you could always get the rom image and try it in an emulator.

I have to test it again. I tried this a long time ago, and it just froze on me. I would really love to see a picture of the actual card too.

Well - it wasn't a company really. It was a Finnish hacking group. I've looked at their NES ROM hacks for PCE as well. It's the actual NES games running on the PCE with some emulation of the NES hardware (and I use the word emulation lightly). I speculate it's the same for the VIC-20 games (hack+emulation). Emulators should run them fine (mednafen), not sure about the new Magic Engine. Better yet if you have a pce flash card ;)
Oh, Chris Covell figured out that they must have been using a PAL modified PCE and some PAL versions of the games. The reason why SMB1 has a slightly funny/off palette and the music is sped up - for NTSC machines. Not sure if this applies to the VIC-20 games.
