Is Max 300 even possible?

All right, so I'm far from a master ar DDR Max. I can do most songs on Standard, and a couple on Heavy if I'm having a good day. But looking at Max 300 makes me wonder if it can be done at all. Is it possible to move that fast without requiring medical assistance afterward, or did Konami only include it to tease people?

It's extremely possible, believe it or not. I've gotten as high as an A at home, and I've seen a few guys clear it at the arcade before. There's even a video out there of a psycho in Japan getting a AAA. Honest to god - 100% Perfects and OKs on Heavy.

Here's a tip: practice it as your third stage, since the gauge difficulty is higher. You'll get better at accuracy with that song. Once you start making it a ways past the freeze, try it as your first stage, and you'll very likely be able to pass it. That worked for me. I still haven't done it as Extra Stage, though. Heh.

I've been working on it in Training Mode. Now I can almost do it on Basic.

I can A it on standard and just make it past the freeze on heavy. The song that scares me is Maxx Unlimited. I used to be able to say I could do any song on standard before that, but all those jumps.....! Granted, I haven't tried it in a month and a hlaf or so, but still.....

And don't even talk to me about LoM....

Honestly, I think that Unlimited is the hardest of the three. Sure, Legend is a cata on standard, but on heavy I think that Unlimited is just more brutal.

I've only seen LoM once, but you may be right. I do remember being decidedly unimpressed by it.

LoM is hard. But I mean, anyone who thinks its the hardest song evar (!!11oneone) hasnt seen bag.

Bag isn't that hard. With a little memorization, I'd imagine it would be quite easy. Hell, when put on 3x it only rates a seven as far as I'm concerned, and I'd really only call it a nine even on 1x. Yeah, it's hard, but if I can read my summer love, I can sure as hell do this.

I for a while actually thought that Witch Doctor was impossible, I'd never seen anyone get through it on Maniac... but I kept playing it for fun (I LOVE that damn song!) and I finally finished it, and with a C! I've seen bag, it doesn't really look THAT hard, just too SLOW.

Hmm...I've passed My Summer Love 1x, reverse, boost, hidden, flat and I've passed bag on 2x. Next time I head to the arcade (I haven't been in over a month, just been playing at home) I'll give bag a shot again.
