Took me six years, but I ran out of cam locks. So I'm looking to get a big order again.
For those of you who ordered from me before, it'll be the same number key as before. I plan on getting both single and double bitted.
For those who haven't: these are quality Illinois Lock Company brand locks. Single bitted key 700 and double bitted key 1382.
I get them in both 7/8" and 1 1/8" lengths.
And I'll have to find out about price, but I suspect they'll be the same as the last batch I offered: $3.00 each for single and $4.00 each for double.

I didn't understand a word of that...
At first I was thinking of cam BOLTS... those things used to put cheap wooden furniture together that turn 90-degrees to lock a cam in place.

Lol. In case you hadn't figured it out already, he's talking about the locks they use on arcade machines. Peale, what's the difference btwn single and double bitted locks?

One is more secure than the other. Instead of one row of pins inside the lock there are two on a double-bitted.

That would be the lovely Michelle Trachtenberg.

Just a gentle bump. So far I've got about half of the interest I'm looking for. If you're looking to have all your arcade machines keyed alike, look no further.

Would you be able to post a picture of each? I have a lock on my cocktail with no key so I'd like to replace it and buy an extra few locks for later on. And will these all share the same key or is a lock+key pair each?

They're keyed alike. Well, the single bitted ones have one key, and the double obviously has another.
You can see pictures of them in my store, I'll bring it back up. Link in my sig.

How easy are these to install? I'm picking up a Marvel Super Heroes cabinet this evening and the seller confirmed that there aren't any locks on the front coin slot doors or on the rear access door.
I'd also like to replace the locks on my other cabinet as I lost the keys last summer when I moved. Could anyone point me to a FAQ of sorts for installing new locks and removing existing locks?
Much appreciated!

For removing locks...they can be drilled out pretty easily. I used a .25" bit right in the keyhole. Let the bit do the work, don't force it. Eventually the lock should just unlock and you can unbolt it like normal with wrenches.

Putting locks on couldn't be simpler. Well, maybe it could.
1) insert lock.
2) Place mounting nut on lock. Tighten.
3) Place cam on cam mount.
4) Insert screw into cam mount and tighten.

I'm totally following this thread for your avatar. Rrowr. Looks sorta like the Olson twins... except attractive.
