My Ms Pac video went kaplooey a couple months back. I randomly played around with the various knobs and dials on the monitor w no luck. Turned out it was a board issue which was then repaired.
I just got the board back and it is working fine w one exception...the left and right edges of the screen are cut off, by about half an inch on each side.
There is a diagram on the brace that is holding the monitor that clearly shows where everything can be adjusted. I can find everything easily except for "horizontal size", which I assume is what I need to adjust to make the picture a little smaller.
Where it looks like the knob should be, there is a white tube about three inches long with wire wrapped around it.
Can anyone help?

I am probably wrong here, but you might actually be looking for the vertical adjustment, since Ms. Pac-Man is a vertical-mounted monitor which is really a horizontal monitor, rotated 90 degrees.

I believe that's an adjustment coil. You stick a hex wrench in there and VERY CAREFULLY rotate it very small amounts and wait for the change to settle. At least that's how it is on my Electrohome G07.
However let's allow someone with more experience to confirm that first before you try anything more. :)

DON'T do it with an Allen key, or likely you'll break your coil.
Also throws off any adjustments since the metal of the key interferes with how the coil operates.
The OP didn't mention the make/model of monitor involved, so I can't be specific on how to make the picture bigger. In general, if you look on the back, you'll see a pot for "V Size" or something similar.

Right you are....I hadn't thought of it that way. Working fine now.
Thanks, I *really* didn't want to mess around with that coil!

I should have said plastic hex wrench. ^^; I've had a couple since high school that I can't remember the origin of.
