Hello, I've found many nintendo nes fan sites but very few nintendo game boy fan sites.
This console get more games than nes, and now that I reach the end of my nes collection I would like to learn more about game boy games. What are the best and worst games for example.
So could you send me your favorite game boy internet sites please ?

For the moment I just get these games (in fact I have more games but I have to find them in my garage) and many of them still look pretty good:

Azure Dreams
Bart vs the Juggernauts
F1-race
Final Fantasy Legend III
Gargoyles Quest
Mario tennis gbc
Pokémon rouge
Probotector
R-Type
Soccer
Solomon's club
Star Wars Yoda Stories
Super Mario Land
Super Mario Land 2
V-Rally
Zelda DX

PS : si c'est en francais c'est encore mieux

Yeah, me too; I'd like to know. There is enough GB lore out there for a good site (minus the Pokemons.......)

Here's one small page that I made which is GB-related: http://www.disgruntleddesigner.com/chrisc/gbgems.html

I don't much care about a Game Boy fan site. Does anyone know of any sites that have patches for GB games that turn those games into full color?

I mean seriously. Who wouldn't want to play a custom colored SaGa2/FFLegend 2, custom colored Seiken Densetsu, custom colored Castlevania Adventure, Ninja Turtles, etc.

When I say custom colored I don't mean the cheap Super Gameboy custom color. I'm talking about patches into which each and every item in the game is colored a seperate color into that which it is available. Like the Fighter in FFLegend 1 and 2/Arthur in FFLegend 3 having black hair, red clothing, peach skin. Or the Ninja Turtles being green yet depending on the turtle you choose actually having the face mask colored properly, etc.

If anyone had some game patches I'd happily download them and play them. I love my Gameboy games themselves, but I'd be amazed at custom color packs.

Umm, ewww? 4 shades of grey should be enough for any game boy game. I didn't even like the Super Game Boy, it just felt wrong to be playing those games in any sort of color.

Except Tetris.

Tetris was cool in colour.

My mom actually got addicted one summer specifically to Game Boy Tetris on my Super Game Boy on the SNES. She didn't want the NES version, or any other version I could throw at her. So my SNES stayed on the living room TV for like 4 months, and I couldn't get on there at all during that time.

BEWARE.

There is one patch available at romhacking.net that supposedly colorizes Super Mario Land 2, so it can be done, in theory. Apparently it doesn't work very well, though.

FFL1 was remade for cellphones, so it's not entirely out of the question that it will turn up again somewhere else someday.

As for sites, how about http://www.eagb.net/ ?

The only GameBoy/GBC collectors I know hang out at NintendoAge (me being one of them).
I'm a bit of a GBC nut. I've got 200+ CIB games.
