Hi

I’m very happy to invite you to my website dedicated exclusively to Colecovision.

You will find a large quantity of pictures and descriptions on different aspects of the Colecovision.

I hope you will enjoy.

impressive, but shame about the watermarks, you can't even see the items properly.

I absolutely loathe and detest watermarks, and your giant watermark logo smack in the middle of each picture absolutely ruins what would otherwise be nice scans. Nice job.

FAIL.

A good start, but I'm with the others, the watermarks ruin the pictures. Also, need larger pictures.

Keep adding more info and pics to it whenever you can.

Not a bad start, but a little constructive feedback is inbound.

Here's an example of a page:
http://www.colecovisionzone.com/page/game/sierra/threshold.html

When I am on that page, if I try to click on some of the links in the link bar on the left side of the page, they're broken. You should at least fix the links or consider just using a frame for it so you don't have to do recursive changes every time you change a link.

EDIT: that page was just an example, I don't know how many pages are affected by the issue.

Updated

I created a new prototype section for the Colecovision accessories. As you know, Coleco created different accessories for their console and they showed different prototypes in magazines, flyers and toy expositions. You will find the new page in the accessory section.

For all games, I also added a new high resolution picture of the cart. You can access them by clicking on the small cartridge on each game’s page.

Following your requests, I considerably reduced the impact of the watermark of the Experience magazine pages and the press kit scans. Feel free to send me your comments. They are always appreciated.

The larger images are definitely cool! I have to ask though, why do you think it's necessary to have the watermarks? A site like Atari Age (http://www.atariage.com) (not to mention Digital Press), which has a goldmine of documents scanned, has none. At most, maybe a light watermark on the high res images, but on the smaller ones, the pictures are ruined. You have some really great stuff on there, such as the Press Kit and Magainze. These are really very visual things, but get spoiled by the watermark.

Nice site and plenty of pictures!

No real problems from me (that haven't already been mentioned).

I'm sure I will be visiting your site again.

Do you plan to add a review section? If you do I'd submit several reviews that I've written over the years. Hopefully you will.

Just drop the watermarks all together. So what if someone uses your picture on their site. It makes the site look tacky.

Watermarks are so 2001.

Also dont forget to make a favicon

Cool site, I finally picked up another Colecovision yesterday. I have about 25 games and now have a system to play them on. I sold my old coleco years ago and immediately regretted it. I would love to find a site with reviews along with the system's top recommended games.

Also, when looking at the label art, your watermark makes the picture useless. I can't tell what the label even looks like with the watermark covering the whole picture. I know everyone has stated this already, but unless you are going to reduce the size(by at least 80%), some of the pictures are useless.

Note: I just clicked on the label art and when it opens up in a new window, the watermark is much lighter. That is much better, but unless you are going to click on every picture and open up a new window, the smaller pictures are totally hidden by the watermark. Besides the watermarks, Nice site!

Here's an example of how a watermark should be:

You can barely see it but it's there.

Where did you get that information about the expansion model #3 possibly incorporating a CED player? I can just imagine what would have happened if that came out... maybe we would have gotten over FMV games a decade earlier!

Nice site, but I have to agree with everyone else about the watermarks. The english could also use some work. btw, typo on the video club page: "...a pumper sticker..."
