Hey, need some quick opinions. What is a good price on the above arcade with 8 games?
I got a chance to pick one up in an hour. $200 or less I was gonna bite on it. Is that a good deal if it is in good shape?

Are you by chance located in Denver or the surrounding area? I just searched to find what the thing looked like and one came up on Denver Craigslist. I sure hope you pick it up, it looks kickasss.

I just picked it up. The thing is amazing shape. I will take a few pictures and put them up. The only thing is the second player joystick is a little sticky. It looks like I can just get a replacement.
DK, I am in Colorado Springs. Yeah pretty close to Denver.About an hour south.

Those are great. I have a line on one for around $600 in great shape as well. Let me know how you like it, I may have to pick one up too! Which games were included?

You got a heckofa deal if you picked it up for $150. Good going !!!!!!

Yeah it ended up being $150.
It has 8 games:
1. Dr. Mario
2. S. Mario 3
3. S. Contra
4. Megaman 3
5. RC ProAm
6. Rescue Rangers
7. TMNT 2
8. Ninja Gaiden 2
Any good places to pick up extra games? I would love to get Baseball Stars. Thanks for the help. I am pretty excited, we already had plans to have friends over to do a game night. This will add some fun.

Alright, I set it to free play and now the reset button doesnt work.

I think when I was setting the free play I som how put it in Standup arcade mode instead of table top.
The instruction screen is different. Anyone who knows how to set it back in tabletop mode?

Download the manual from Klov.com Thats where i got it for my playchoice. Also if you are looking for baseball stars you can always change the rom chips out with another game. Check here http://playchoice.riemen.net/

BTW- If you ever go to get rid of Rescue Rangers let me know. :-p

Please don't do a rom swap. You'd have to sacrifice a game to do that. :\

It came with a manual. It does not say anything about this. Somehow my startup screen is slightly different. Instead of an arrow pointing to the enter button, it now says select button 2. Very weird. Anyhow I figured out hitting "Enter" and "Channel Select" at the same time resets it to the main menu screen. Works just like the reset button, but I would like to switch it back.

Baseball Stars was originally made for the playchoice so I wouldnt have to do a rom switch. I would like to get "The New Ghosterbuster" via a rom switch. Some guy on ebay sells the chips, but I dont have a extra game nor do I want to kill one of my games. The only game I could sacrifice is baseball. That game is bad and I wouldnt feel bad about making it into a playable game.

Also, this thread could probably be moved to the arcade section. THANKS

Reset button probably isn't working because of a glitch in the system EPROM at position 8T on the board. You will need a new one burned that has updated code. I burned a new one for my countertop playchoice and the reset button worked.

BTW, you also really picked up a bargain. The Rescue Rangers alone could probably go for $120. Every game on the board with the exception of SMB3 is rare. Good luck.
