Valve is a company that knows how to make a good deal(see the Orange Box). But this time they're taking it a step further and selling a package with ALL their backlog of games for one cheap affordable price: http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/207925/valve-offers-entire-back-catalog-for-99/

Who knows, maybe it will cetch on with other companies like Id and Epic(doubtful though). But anyway you slice it, it's a very good deal---especially since they are throwing in the newly released Left 4 Dead as well. Now if only my laptop were built to play pc games:(

This is a good deal. If I was interested in playing games on the PC more often I'd probably get it sooner, but right now I'm trying to save up money.

I guess every last mod isnt being included like all the tactical mods, brainbread/zombies mods, TFC mods/maps etc. would have been good if they could get together a massive backlog of out of house mods and maps to go with each.

Um. This isn't anything new. They've ALWAYS had their entire catalog for sale for 99 bucks. Whenever a new game gets released it gets added to the package a few weeks later.

And this sucks for me, the only things I don't own are Half-Life Source and Left 4 Dead. :\
