Do you have two copies of a rare or expensive game? Back it up with a picture if you can (and have the time, of course).
Here's mine (sorry about the poor quality, 5 MP cameras and Photoshop 7 doesn't quite compensate for a low camera battery and a rushed editing job) :

(Oh, and these are the only two copies of Akumajo Dracula x68000 I've ever seen for sale on the Internet. If I see another, I'll buy that one as well! :O)

Holy crap! I'd slay to own and X68000 and that game! So jealous :D Is it a LOT different than Castlevania Chronicles for PSX? I've never had a chance to play the original X68000 one.
As for doubles of my rares, I have
Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie (SFC, complete) x 3
Neo Nectaris (PCE, complete, one sealed) x 2
Ogre Battle 64 (N64, complete, one sealed) x 2
Shadowrun (Genesis, complete, one sealed) x 2
Miracle Warriors (SMS, one complete, one boxed) x 2
I don't keep a lot of duplicates around...I usually trade em off for other games I really like or want :)

I don't really have any rare titles to begin with but owning a X68000 must be pretty fucking sweet.

I know this sounds stupid, but what is an X68000?

I would never even consider keeping more than one copy of ANY game, let alone a rare one :)

Itīs a Sharp system which was not very popular (in my country never appeared for example)...you can find some snaps of the games at http://www.vgmuseum.com

The rarest game I have 2 copies of is Cheetahmen II (both sealed). I don't feel like taking a picture so you are just going to have to take my word for it. BTW, one copy is up for trade if anybody is interested.

Yeah, it was SO not popular because it had ARCADE PERFECT PORTS that the following titles were released for it:
Strider
Gradius (released with the first model of the system as a pack-in)
Daimakaimura (Ghouls n' Ghosts)
Thunder Force 2 (MUCH better than Mega Drive/Genesis "Lightening Force")
Final Fight
Wanderers from Ys
All told, at least 500 games. No, Digital Press doesn't have a list, and I don't blame them, because it's hard enough to discover out that games actually exist for this thing in the first place. That said, it's still being used in Japan, and it still gets OSes (like FreeBSD) ported to it every once in a while.
Note that it's easier to find info about the system if you use the model numbers (CZ-whatever) instead of "Sharp x68000" in search engines.
I'm sorry if you can't take my cutting sarcasm, but I like to think that I'm pretty honest about my lack of knowledge about U.S. game titles. Do the world a favor and don't spread false information. Please ;)

What format media did software for the x68000 come in? Floppies? Gotta hate that magnetism wearing out over time..

I own Quarth and Parodius for X68000, they are on floppies. But they did come with cool Konami flyers. Who knew they made Video Game Soundtrack cassettes!
As for rare games, I've owned 3 Dracula X's for PC Engine, but not all at one time :P ...

5 and a quarters like the Apple 2. Exactly, and yes.
On the bright side, you can emulate it. Or save the games to the machine's disk (only works with the models designated HD, for Hard Drive, that had a SASI or SCSI interface). It could also write these games to disk (there's a pathetic little notice on the back of the box reading "no copy" that apparently is supposed to stop software pirates from copying it...fat chance!)
Oh, and here's a bit more about its version of Final Fight:
Released before the Super NES version
24 bit color
2 player simultaneous action
large sprites onscreen without slowdown.
I don't suppose I have to introduce some of the crazy stuff found in Akumajo Dracula x68000 to the CV hardcore, but for those of you who don't know about it, we're talking stuff that's edging into Mode 7 territory. Perfectly stretched or scaled sprites, layers to spare, direct access to cool system stuff (that famous clock tower battle? The boss rips off the numbers, bits of the stone on the ledge, and the hands of the clock which reads the system time and apparently updates in realtime...) make this a pretty good choice.
Konami released a good amount of stuff for it, but there isn't a Contra title.
