Did anyone here buy it? I need to know if the manual has the credits for the game... and I want to know if anyone could be kind enough to scan them for me.

I have no interest in the game and I doubt I'll find a copy of this locally, so I figured I'd ask here. I don't need the 360 or PS3 credits, just the Wii ones.

Can anyone help?

Why on earth do you want the credits?
Are you gonna beat them up or something?

Doubt it, it sold TWO Wii copies during the entire month of October nationwide.

Uh. No? :P

Edit:
Oh, it sold two copies in October because the game didn't come out until November 11.

I don't think I've ever heard of any game selling 2 copies.

Still, selling only two copies in nine days NATIONWIDE is pretty bad.

All platforms combined sold less than 5,000 copies, only the Wii version came out on the 11th.

I'm actually looking forward to Rock Revolution. I've got the 360 version on its way in the mail and I'm buying a MS points card tomorrow for the Bemani DLC song pack. \\^_^/

They sold two copies because they broke the street date.

If it hadn't been broken, I'm sure they would've sold at least three.

I don't think they would have sold any.

I don't often say this about a game, but it is terrible. Absolutely nothing at all redeeming about it which is sad considering they created the genre. I hope you got it for the $30 or lower sale price it's now going for.

Development was farmed out to an external dev. Konami had very little to do with this game.

I'm sure that if the Bemani folks in Konami Japan hear about this they'll go nuts. :\

What's so terrible about it? It's not that I don't believe you...it's just that I don't hear many people say WHY this game sucks (just that it does). I've seen some gameplay vids and agree that there are some pretty bad covers here, but it really doesn't bug me since there's bad covers in GH too. I'm more concerned with the note charts and timing windows.

Even if I end up hating it, it's no big loss to me since I only paid $11 shipped (had a $20 BB gift card). Plus I got a free $15 gift card for ordering it online. I'm really just getting it to play the Bemani track pack.

... the Spanish Localization section. If they didn't credit me and instead they credit Babel Media, I'm going to be very angry (especially after all the shit they put me through just to get PAID.)

June 2008. A five day translation marathon that only netted me 350 bucks. :p

Are you really sure you want your name on this game?

Well the simple mention of me working on this game ALMOST got me a job at a game company over in Washington, so DAMN STRAIGHT I DO.

A lot of game companies require that you have your name on at least one shipped title before even applying, so yeah, that is a big deal. Congratulations man, I hope you didn't get screwed!

I just got the 360 version today. I don't know if the manual is anything like the Wii one, but it's printed in 3 languages (English, French, Spanish) and all it says in the Credits section is "Play the Game Credits". :-/

... What the fuck? O_O

Also, each version had different text to translate - the one I translated had tons of Wii-specific text strings (which I am not at liberty to discuss), so... yeah. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until someone records the credits and uploads them to Youtube.

I appreciate the help, though. :)

Couldn't you just get a letter of reference from the developer?

A blurry youtube vid uploaded by someone else isn't exactly the most impressive thing to use as a reference.

I could hex-edit my name into the credits of just about any game excluding PS3/XB360 games and make a video.
Maybe I should get a job in the videogame industry!

I can get listed at MobyGames. That's a very good reference site, and it's widely accepted in the gaming industry - lots of developers and publishers contribute credits, pictures, information and trivia there.

I do have my employer's info in case anyone ever asks for it.
