sat down this morning to try and get Griswold ( the shop dude in Diablo) to sell me something worth buying....didn't happen as usual. then i noticed my FF7 black just sitting there as usual, like it has been for several years when something caught my eye. i don't know if this is known or has been seen, but my spine lettering is off center. they dont line up, and I haven't noticed till now. i have checked other double cases and this is the only one with misalignment on it... now off to the mail route.....holla

I cant seem to find info on it at the moment but i know a bunch of early copies of final fantasy 7 had some kind of crease or sold on the spine portion of the label. Any chance this is what your talking about, if not does it look like the thing just isnt sitting straight in the case or is the printing actually off center?

There's a lot of misprints associated with FFVII. My Greatest Hits copy has the Sephiroth in flames picture on both sides. :P

My FF7 is offcenter as well, identically to the picture above. I hadn't ever noticed it either honestly. Leads me to believe it must be fairly common though.

Every Squaresoft Double Disc game I have is printed off center. Either this way or the reversed top and bottom.

Okay, you guys piqued my interest, so looking through my collection, I'd say around 50% if not more of my double-case games have the two titles not aligned perfectly. I'd say this is less a misprint and more a matter of publishers and their manufacturers not caring very much. :P Seems to happen across the board with publishers. A lot of Squaresoft games, a lot of Atlus, etc. The biggest misalignment I spotted in my collection was on Fade to Black. It's quite a significant difference in placement on each insert. Probably twice as much as on that Final Fantasy VII.

Yeah a lot of the double-disc games are this way. Persona is the worst one I have.
