Well known collector cyberguile is the buyer so we'll soon know if it's actually legit.

Lost for words ... if that's legit then it could probably fetch something into the thousands if it were sold alone in a well advertised auction.
The mysteries of the 32X release catalogue never cease to amaze. My hunch would be that it is legit - it seems a natural game to release on 32X. But with the blurriness, it's very hard to make a guess.

It wouldn't make any sense at all that the first copy ever seen of a new 32X game would just pop up well over 10 years after its release. Anything is possible I guess though...

You obviously missed the discoveries of T-Mel and Primal Rage in recent years then.
There is some new info though. A german guy claims to have had e-mail contact with the seller and he said three things about it:
1) he really got that lot from a flea
2) the game runs on a standard mega drive
3) the box doesn't look well made
If 2)+3) are actually true this is just some mock-up box some guy made :(
@Vroom
Wow, haven't seen you in a long time. Nice to spot some familiar faces once in a while :D

Well look how rare Darxide and Primal Rage are. I'm surprised but not shocked that a new 32X game may have been discovered.

Ahh, boo-urns. I was hoping it'd be an upgraded version of the game that ran smoother and whatnot. Oh well, I'm sure there's still plenty of wacky PAL-exclusive 32x rarities that'll pop up out of nowhere over the course of the next few years.

T-Mek & Primal Rage discovered in "recent" years? I've heard nothing about that in the many years I've been on the internet. Are you talking about PAL varieties? What years exactly were they discovered?

Let's see if it's for real or not

Good to see you again Jan, good find on the auction!
Shame it isnt actually a new PAL 32x game after all! But to be fair, another very limited release 32x PAL game of a sub-average MD game (im looking at you too Primal Rage) is the last thing us collectors want ;)

Hey Adam :) Is it true you've collected a complete Mega Drive set? Impressive!!
And I absolutely agree, I don't want to see anymore 32X games surface
...unless I find them in the wild :D

I would be very surprised if this was real - but also very impressed by whoever snatched it that cheap if its legit. And here everyone thought BC Racers would be next to pop up!
My hopes of complete collection of 32X have diminished further if this is real - as if finding WCS2 wasn't hard enough!

Haven't seen you around much either! I generally just lurk these days. I've sold off my collection, and don't really dabble in videogames any more.
I also started a new job, working for the Treasury and can't browse message-boards at work any more - and tend to get home too late to do much in the evening. And I also have a girlfriend who lives in another city, so weekends are out too.
But for some reason I still find the news interesting, so I pop in and have a look here now and again.
Anagrama is clearing out his collection at the moment. I think he must be getting somewhere near the end of it ... he had a heck of a lot of stuff though! I don't think he tends to check in on the boards that much these days either.

Yeah, I was actually surprised to see you read this at all, knowing you sold your stuff. But it seems like you're leading a happy life, very glad to see this :) I knew about James clearing out his collection too, actually I bought one or two games from him. I think it's taken him more than 6 months to sell off the games. Crazy :o
Are you active on any UK based boards? I'm a regular on the Retro Gamer forum as I finally got around subscribing last year. A very recommended read, especially if you're not collecting anymore but still love to read about the games :) Although I guess there's a slight risk of the bug biting again ;)

Yeah, he was keen on going for full sets, and I never really was. I just wanted the rare/fun/cool stuff
I am having a great time, except for a few health problems - but you can't have everything, I guess!
I only really check here, and ntsc-uk. Very occasionally I will take a peek at Sega-16.com or Assembler (they are a bit scary there though ...

I knew it was fake before placing my bid as I had asked jim blackler himself about a possible 32x version, but I had a couple of bucks to waste so gave it a go "just in case"
Paid last week, waiting for the package to come but don't expect anything dudes ^^

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.

So please explain for me, the dumb one. What's the end of story? Is it some holy grail or just a common version?
