i found a virtual boy "complete" with mario tennis on amazon.com for 49.99. i went ahead and ordered it today. when i've searched ebay recently for this machine i havent any of those systems much cheaper than $100.

anyway, is this a decent deal or should i have waited?

Depends on whether it comes with a stand and eyeshade. Without those I would not have considered it complete. Decent deal though.

If it comes with the box and manuals, then yeah, $50 is a pretty good deal for a complete VB.

i dont think its coming with the box and manual. i think what the seller means is it comes with the system and everything you need to play. anyway, i've been interested in this system for a while.

now, if i could just get my hands on neo goe....

If it is only the bare console, controller, and cart only game then you got a bad deal. Depending on how he described it the game should be complete with box and manual. By definition to be complete it must come with everything that it shipped with new. So if it doesn't come how you would buy it in stores then I would return it.

 There is no box for the US release of Mario's Tennis, it was a pack in game. Complete and Boxed Complete are different. If the buyer wants a complete system to play, then the system with all the accessories and a game to play is "complete" as in "the complete system." Considering I've sold the stands for $20.00+ and the controllers for $25.00+, $50.00 for a ready to play VB isn't bad at all.

the first thing you have too check is if the stand is cracked....99 out of a 100 they are cracked.....theres 2 power supplys......batterys that go into the controller, and a reg power supply..............and like they said in earlier post too you, shade has too be in good shape..
50.00 is good price, if everything is ok.......but your not going tt get rich on that sys.....

I could have sworn I bought it at blockbuster with the box after they sold out the VB stuff back in the day.

Yeah, the only US Virtual Tennis boxes you'll find are those display boxes from Blockbuster. The game was never officially released with its own box though.

actually, i just checked back on the website and it shows a picture of the vb in an original box so it may be complete.. as in the original packaging... anyway, we'll see.
