when the hell did office depot start selling video games lol. This is worse than when i went into macys the other day and they had an ipod vending machine. What have we become that we need mp3 players in vending machines, its not like it comes preloaded with your favorite tunes.

I'd be willing to bet these are refurbed systems. I seem to remember one of the office stores doing a similar thing last year or the year before, but they WERE refurbs.

i have very little faith in office depots ability to service or warranty a refurb 360. Though it is a pretty good price. Going to pass this up for the same reason id pass up a great deal on a car being sold by burgerking. Its just not really their field and i dont want to deal with the extra hassle incurred when this thing red rings.

Its funny I see a post about this. On Friday I found this deal, went to add it to my cart and it told me it could not add to cart, was not available in my location. I then proceeded to try other zip codes and found a location that worked. I then tried to go into the cart and pay and as soon as I tried to put my info in it came back and told me that it was not available in my location. I was kinda pissed...

I called the 1800 number supplied on the website and got an Indian lady on the phone. Explained what was going on and told her I wanted to order it from a different location but it wouldnt allow me. She came back within a minute and said all US warehouses were out of stock. I didnt believe her and asked for a supervisor. Got one on the phone and explained the situation. Told her that she came back pretty fast and said they were sold out. She then told me that these units were discontinued and no longer available to order. I told her fine, but they should remove that listing from the site because its advertising something thats not available. She told me she would contact the site admin and get it removed. LOL - LIAR!!!

I checked the site later that day and it was still up. I then decided to try one last time to add to cart. BAM! It worked. I then proceeded to put my billing and shipping info in... No problem. Order was created successfully and I got a confirmation email. I was very happy. Said it would ship today, 11/25/08.

Over the weekend and yesterday I watch it go from in process, to checking stock, to in warehouse. I thought sweet, its going to work. I check my email this morning and it says "CANCELED. No longer available in your location."

Please dont waste your time with this deal. All you'll end up with is a headache.

IIRC these were older models that they had in stock that weren't selling. The hardware version varies. You may get an older version or a slightly newer version.
