View Full Version : Mongoloid taking halo 3 beat a tad too far

So my partner and I beat some kids in halo 3, and now he is using a stupid xbox live host booter program of some sort and keeps kicking me off line (or just used an ip finder and using some other program).

I know it's him because the goofball had to gloat and tell me to expect my live to be disconnecting around the time it's been disconnecting.

Know of anyway to block this "attack"?

Any programs to fight the doofuses, or maybe a proxy of some sort?

It's kind of irritating because my nephew is spending the night and we were looking forward to some halo 3 and gears of war 2.

I guess in theory that would be possible, but i'm not aware of any way some idiot kid would figure it out. Even if they did, there's little you can do about it other then call microsoft and report it.

Apparently they have booter programs and ip finders (cain and abel and ARP poisoning?) made for live.

I'd call xbox, but I want to be able to play this month!

Man I hate kids.

It's bad enough his profile states "im a 15 year old 6"3 football player"

I don't like being bullied by a 6 inch tall football player. Sure he may be hell on the field with his almost invisible like appearance and quick feet, but come on.

Call and report his gamertag, and they'll shut him down, thus stopping the attack. At least I would certianly hope they would. Hell, you can probably even use the report user button on live if you can connect enough to do that.

Cain and Abel is a password cracker for windows (and a few other things like SQL) and ARP poisioning would require he be inside your subnet (IE, connected to your router)

I looked up what they're doing to actually boot you, and it's pretty evil. I would definately call MS and report the turd burgler. If nothing else, it'll get his account deactivated. There's not really anything else you can do other then get your ISP to change your IP address.

You actually need to call MS too, not just report over the dashboard.

I'm still stunned that sanctioned football leagues let a 6 inch player play. That's got to be a slight disadvantage for one of the teams.

Thanks for the advice. Not sure if someone wants to delete this post or keep to warn others not to mess with an inch high halo guy.

They'll totally boot you yo. Because they have size envy.

To be honest I'm even more surprised a 6 inch player would want to play. They can be as athletic and muscular as they want, they are very likely to get hurt by normal sized players.

Hahaha, if I met that turd, I would put him in the toilet and laugh at him. I wouldn't flush him, just laugh cuz he is stuck in the toilet. Maybe take a pee every once in awhile, and, yeah, i can say worse, I will leave it at that.

I've taken shits bigger than him.

Call MS, get his account banned.
