I found this item on craigslist. Seemed like a good deal but the lady flipped out on me when I didnt reply right away. Gotta love craigslist sellers with anger issues.

Anyway, its a small area rung with a Pac-Man maze design on it. Its also like a board game, it has pieces and you roll dice to move Pac-Man. Ive never seen this before. Anyone got any info on this thing?

she told me to pretty much f-off after one email and wont listen to any offers so I figured I'd pass it along to you guys. She only wants $15, would probably go for a lot more on ebay but I'm not telling her that.

message me if you are interested in the item

Paste in her response, should be a good read.

Due to me being busy watching football tomorrow, I might see if she is willing to deliver it in person to Milton if I toss in $2.00 for gas.

Ok, so when I first responded to her ad, I asked if where she was located was near the town I work in. She got back and said no but her sister lives in a different town, but I still didnt know how close that was to the town I work in, she asked me to get back to her and she could set something up.

Now I'm usually not one to throw around made up excuses for things, but when its really an issue, its an issue. After she got back to me I had not one, but two serious family emergencies. It was a VERY hard weekend and I was dealing with a lot. I had more important things to do than email this lady about a stupid old rug. So after the weekend I get this:

what happened?
couldnt get back to me
i told you what could be done
why no reply
thats a bit disrespectful
obviously NOT really interested
thanks alot!!
have a great day!

EESH! First of all I think its ignorant to assume I'm being disrespectful just because I didnt email you back right away. She could have at least given me the benefit of the doubt ONCE before tearing into me. But thats ok, I know people are dumb, I deal with them all the time, can't avoid them really. So I forgive people like this I come across knowing that its not really their fault. Lots of people are brought up to think they are entitled, privileged, and much more important than everyone else. So I responded and said I was very sorry for not getting back right away as I was dealing with a loss. I said I am still interested in the rug if she was still willing to sell it. I couldnt find the old email so I asked a couple questions;

You said it is also a game, are all the peices included?
Pardon my ignorance in geography, but is the town you mentioned close to (town I work in)?
How much were you asking again? Would you consider some sort of trade for it?

This is what I got back:

HAVE A NICE DAY
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR "LOSS"
I DON'T HAVE THE TIME NOR THE DESIRE TO DEAL WITH IGNORANCE OR ANYONE'S "B.S."
TAKE CARE
DO NOT REPLY
I WILL SELL IT TO SOMEONE WHO IS NOT INTO PLAYING GAMES AND IS SERIOUS
OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE NOT
OR
YOU WOULD NOT ASK SUCH INSULTING QUESTIONS
GO AWAY!!!

Wow. You self important ignorant b***. Oh but wait I'M the ignorant one. I feel really, really sorry I let someone I know die, and let a family member be rushed to the hospital while you were trying to give me the pleasure of doing business with you, next time I'll tell them to hold off. Thanks for wishing me luck though, hey, good luck to you, too! Good luck finding people that realize just how important you are and not hold you second fiddle to the well being of friends and family. Also, wouldnt you rather sell it to someone that IS into playing games? I mean it would be a hard sell to someone into lamp shades or gardening. *snark snark*
I'm also sorry I asked such "insulting" questions like how much it costs, or if you might be willing to do some bartering in such turbulent economic times, or especially asking if an old game has all the pieces to it. I'm just so darn obsurdly rude, arent I?
Although I can kinda see where you are coming from, I guess someone self important and ignorant might take my request for a pardon of ignorance in geography as being rude. Next time I'll keep it simple and say "duh is dat near where me go?" Maybe that will prevent any misunderstandings. But whatever, if you will excuse me I'll be going away now, sorry not to honor your dismissal of me sooner.

I had the urge to write this lady back with all sorts of insults starting with what was written above. But she asked me specifically not to reply, so anything beyond that is harassment. I can't begin to tell you how unworth it that would be. So whatever, if anyone picks up the rug, let me know how it is, and how your interaction with the lady was. Hopefully she had her scotch and is more pleasant to deal with.

I hate when people do that.

They get all lippy and then just say, "Conversation over" without even letting you get in a retort. It is very annoying.

I guess the second reply was through personal email and not craigslist. But still, thanks for the offer but its not really worth anyones time. I vented on it and I'm more than capable of letting it go.

Still, she was very rude and arrogant.

I doubt anyone will be tolerant enough to deal with her.

I will check her listing every so often to see if she is sells it. But don't be surprised if she contacts you for a "second offer".

I can actually see where she's coming from on the first one. It is annoying as hell trying to sell something through Craigslist. Just this last weekend I listed a DS Lite and immediately got about 10 emails saying "I'll take it".

Ok great, here's my number, give me a call and we'll make arrangements.

ONE person called me. Luckily I know from experience not to just write off anyone that didn't email me first.

The second email, though, was definitely uncalled for. Props to you for being the bigger person.
