I just went to a .99 cent store around my house and they had a gameboy advance game sealed. They had 20 or 30 of the same game. It is Texas Hold 'em. Craptastic! I could not belive they were .99 so I tolk them up front and asked. She replied yes plus tax. So I bought 2 and some Orange juice for 3.14!!! The orange juice kinda tastes funny. I hope I dont die. The store is 99only stores(with a cents sign after 99) Call them toll free at 1(888)lucky-99.or www.99only.com. Check these out. I have not. Yet!

I wish we had similar things over here!

We have something called "$1 and Something More" and "$1 $2 $3". Nice stores, but they are basically the same and sell lots of crap.

There used to be $1.10 store in PR as well, early 90's. It was taken down because of health concerns.

Yeah, that is a cheap game. I think they made a whole bunch and nobody bought them.

When my Toys R Us closed last year, they had them marked down to $2 before the discount. When I went the last day, they had them marked down 90%, which is about $0.25 each. I bought some for me all my friends. They still had a bunch left after they closed though.

I guessing the .99 cent store bought all those extra copies that Toys R Us didn't sell.

A dollar store in a mall up here had dozens of copies of Space Jockey for the Atari 2600 around 1993 or so, picked up three.

No such luck since. :(

I live in an OK? part of town and there is .99 stores all over. Lately I have been going in and checking for cheap nintendo/videogame stuff. But nothing(until earlier today) Is it that nintendo doesn't let people make this cheap stuff. Pirates will get stompped type of thing. Ive seen plinty of cheap stuff from asia?Hmmm. Or you can sell this sorta stuff for more than .99?

I remember a similar store near me had a stack of some shitty N*Sync Gameboy Color game for sale for a buck each.

Those things sat there untouched for years *L*

Heh, GameStop sells that for $1.99 used. Unfortunately, there aren't any 99 cent only stores around here - Portland is a Dollar Tree town.

Dollar Tree did have some third party PS1 controllers a few years back, though. About a week after I first spotted them, they were a common sight among the used controllers at GameStop and GameCrazy, and it was funny seeing them marked at the $7.99 or so they were going for "used." They used to have these really crappy LCD handheld games and currently have Mega Man figurines, but that's it for game stuff.

However, I did get a new GBA game for $1.58 recently - Open Season, on clearance at a Fred Meyer.

EDIT: Rask, NSync should pay you a buck to take their GBC game off their hands. :p

A caseful or two of that game turned up at the flea market I hunt in - and they wanted ten bucks per game! They dumped the whole box on a table and NOT ONE COPY WAS SOLD IN THREE DAYS.

The guy probably got the box for five dollars, but still. XD

I was in the same store again today and found Nintendo bags of candy. I picked up 3. .99 come on! Super Mario Crunchy Candies. The bag is green and has Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Toad on the front. On the back is a web site for Ausome. I guess the candy manufacturer.

I just opened the bag and the candy is actualy in the shapes of the same four charcters. Every person is in every color. So theres a green mario? Luigi? Donkey Kong kinda looks weird in every color. The little bags have all of them on them too. Nice for .99.

http://www.ausome.com/us/license.php?in=1 Heres the acual page. Man they gots alot of stuff. I want them all. I have the gummies. Probably not to gummy any more.

Yeah, I went to a store like that too. All they had was some crappy Flintstones game and a sequel to that stupid game about those lame dinosaurs that blow bubbles...

I see this game all over the place, complete (used copies) for $2-3. I'm sure somebody here has played it.

I know this is a stupid question but is the game good........Let me rephrase that, I mean is it good for a poker/card game, not is it good compared to the stuff on a GBA Top 20 list.

Oh, in case you're wondering I don't own Texas Hold Em. Just asking to see if I should bother at that price.

what did you do with the money

some of it went to my parents, they were pretty broke at the time and needed money (they were also the ones who made the intial investment to buy them). the rest of it went to funding a trip to visit my girlfriend at the time.

Are there any GBA homebrew developers? Seems like a good source of raw, mint materials.
