Best week for XMas eBay sales?

I've been holding out on a ton of good stuff until December in hopes that I'll make a bit more money than usual this year (I need to save cash, donchaknow). So I was wondering if you guys had any advice on which week I should sell stuff in.

I usually list stuff on Saturdays, which leaves people enough time to pay me on Sunday so I can send the stuff off on Monday. So, I have two choices:

List on November 29, auctions end on December 6--
Pros: Lots of time for the packages to get to their destinations (at least in the US)
Cons: Not that many desperate buyers driving up the price

List on December 6, auctions end on the 13th--
Pros: Even more desperate buyers driving up prices
Cons: Just a week for the packages to get to their destinations, and the USPS is going to be flooded with parcels already.

List on the 13th, auctions end on the 20th--
Pros: Lots of desperate last minute buyers
Cons: The packages won't make it by the 25th. Hell they may not arrive until January. :P

I'm thinking of listing stuff on the 6th. I figured I'd ask other eBay sellers for their advice. ;) I'm not listing any games with buy it now, of course, that 15% FVF is fucking retarded.

(Oh, I plan to have other stuff at CTCW too.)

I would place it on the 6th but force Priority Mail or Express Mail as the only options available. That way you are sure the package will arrive in time.

if your stuff is good, selling items, things people want.....you only need a 3 day auction, if you give a 6 day, thats 3 extra days your giving people to find it cheaper somewhere else....

You want your item ending anytime between now and Dec 20-22. Exact dates don't matter at this point. I've found Saturday to be the absolute worst day, by FAR, to have an auction end, even during the holidays. Sunday through Wednesday seems to fetch the best results.

Really? I've sold lots of stuff for good prices on Saturday evenings.
