I recently saw a video of Pengo, and I was curious if any companies made a Pengo clone for the NES or Famicom. Any help would be appreciated! : )

Pengo is an old Sega arcade game, more about it on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pengo_(arcade_game)) and a fun YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Mw-XkalHUg). But it was brought to such wonderful systems as the Atari 5200. :)

As for other ports, I'm not sure. Alternative games also don't come to mind right now.

Kickle Cubicle is a slight clone of Pengo. I don't really know about any others. Seeing as how it's a Sega game, I wouldn't be surprised if it never got a direct port on the NES.

For more modern systems, there's Pengo and Ninku Gaiden: Hiroyuki Daisakusen on the Game Gear, as well as Don't Pull! on PSX & Sat as part of the 3 Wonders compilation.

It came out for the Game Gear and Mega Drive I believe.. and of course the classic lcd/vfd handheld versions. There may be more though...

I've got it for the Atari 5200. I always wondered if it might be available as a compilation on a more recent system myself.

I really like Pengo, I have it for the Atari 2600 and Atari 5200. I don't know about any other ports asides from the Genny and Game Gear.

Japanese Sega Saturn had a port in a title called Sega Ages Memorial Selection Volume 1.

Don't Pull also appeared on 3 Wonders game on the Capcom Classics Remixed PSP game and the Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 on the PlayStation 2.

Pengo is definitely one of my favorite games. It's one of the main reasons I still fire up my Atari 5200 from time to time.

Pengo came out in Japan for the MegaDrive, good luck in finding that one at a decent price though. I do believe that is one of the $$$$$$$ kind of games on the MegaDrive.
