I am putting on part 2 of a little (very little) contest about guessing the name of a Genesis game over on CAG. It was too complicated to run one contest on two boards plus DP already has the avatar contest so I did it over there. Anyone who wins gets games for free and shipping is also free to the U.S. Here's the link:

I've disassembled enough cartridges to know that it's post 1992. Probably 1993 or 94.

I guessed Madden '94. As often as I see Madden games in the wild, I'd have to say I have a pretty good shot. If there's a random Genesis game in a thrift store, there's about a one-third chance of it being a Madden title.

Because it was in a long EA cart? I wasn't sure. Sports games (and their enthusiasts) mean so little to me, I never pay attention to them. So I wasn't sure if it was in a regular cart or an EA cart, it's just that I find a hell of a lot of them in the wild. I don't think I've even looked closely at a Madden cart, ever.

I know we won't be participating without signing up, but atleast we can view the question. It's just the picture of the back of a Genesis cart. All you have to do is guess what game it is.

It's just the picture of the back of a Genesis cart. All you have to do is guess what game it is.
You didn't post the correct link to round 2, you edited your first post announcing part 2, but didn't change the link as it linked to part 1.


Anyways, my guess would be Mario Andretti Racing. I don't really pay attention to EA releases as they're mostly common sports games that I have no interest in(I only have a few EA carts).

My guess is: HAUNTING: Starring Poulterguy.
That was a pretty sweet game, and somewhat uncommon. It's the only Genny game I see at my local store that's higher than $4 (they want $15 for it!)
