I've been wanting to do this for a while, so I don't have to carry around all of my UMDs that are prone to breaking everywhere, and can play emulators on it.
The people on craigslist charge $30 to do it, which seems insane seeing that you can buy a pandora battery for less than that.
My psp is currently at the official firmware 3.40, and I'd like a good CFW. Not exactly sure which is the best.
Is anyone willing to do this for a cheap price?
~Thanks

Your best bet is to go with the guy on craigslist for $30. If you do it yourself and mess it up, your done with. He is a collector as well and sells other things time to time. Good guy to know. His name is derek.

I am but I don't live near you sorry. If you send me your battery I will happily send it back as a Pandora without any hard mods that can ruin it. Then all you have to do is power on with the cord not battery and de-pandora it with a simple app. I would also give you all the files you would need. Just copy them to your M$ hit X twice and that is it, and if you mess up that isn't "it" LOL It is a de-bricker you would be using it is designed fir just such a case. This was the case years ago but not anymore.

I will definitely take you up on it if I can't find anyone locally.

I've done business with the guy on craigslist in tucson, he's a stand-up guy (assuming we are talking about the same cat who has the dreamcast emulator/rom sets). I'd fork out the money and get it done right...

I don't know, this guy doesn't seem very honest if he charges people for DC emulators...
