I came across this when I was looking up R-Type on Amazon this morning. There's figure statues of the Vic Viper, the ship from R-Type (complete with the front "Options"), and a few others.

Figured I'd share this, feel free to move to off-topic if needed.

Those are pretty cool, I just wish they were diecast. My two year old would destroy them if he ever got a hold of them.

The R-Type one was a pre-order bonus for the PSP game. Matter of fact, I got one from Amazon when I ordered the game for $10, unadvertised.

I have the Silverhawk (Darius) one. If you so much as breathe on it the wing parts will fall off. Maybe I was supposed to glue it? It is still awesome though. I saw some prototype pics of their new line which has the Opa Opa and Raiden ship in it. Don't remember where though.

These toys are all from the Shooting Historica line. The first set (http://ncsx.wordpress.com/2007/12/11/shooting-game-historica-gashapon-new-sets-sold-out/) came out last December, the second set (http://www.ncsx.com/2008/081108/shooting_game_historica_2g.htm) hit earlier this year, and the third batch (http://www.ncsx.com/2008/110308/ncs1103w.htm) is due out next March.

I have the MUSHA Aleste robot.

They aren't really high-end models, since they're made to be sold in prize machines for about 300 yen (under $3) each in Japan and their parts can be bent against the sides of the plastic bubbles that hold them. Still, they're decent little figures, and you're not going to find toys from In the Hunt or Wolf Fang anywhere else.

Yeah they are pretty cool. I bought the whole set a little bit back. Some of them take a bit of glue to actually stay together properly. They look pretty good imo.

The GeoSword from StarBlade was my favorite in the line. Not too often toys get made based upon my favorite arcade game. :)

My bad, the Opa Opa is already out then...

I NEED that Raystorm R-Gray1 and the Raiden MK-II!

(I must have a thing for red spacecraft..)

I can't believe they are actually doing the submarine from In The Hunt, I might actually get that one.
