Excuse me for my ignorance, but what exactly are those MK games? It looks like 1,2 and 3 and Sub Zero mythologies...

If so what are they exactly? I'm assuming that they are crusty versions of the actual games that play on a Famicon with NES graphics... If so how do they play? I would be interested in owning 1 or 2 of them, mostly interested in the MK 3 and mythologies, could you let me know what they are like playwise perhaps?
