I'm looking to order a few nes and snes repro's for the holidays for friends. Has anyone here ever had an order filled at gamereproductions.com? If so, how promptly was your order filled and delivered? (I'm thinking about giving them as gifts around Jan. 1, so time is an issue) Does anyone have any experience of their final product or shipping? Or could anyone direct me to a site similar to that with nes or snes repro's that they HAVE used before and had good experiences with.

I ordered an nes game on November 9th and still haven't gotten anything. I haven't e-mailed them about it because in the FAQ's it says

"shipping may take up to 1 month at this time.. Sometimes longer, depending on how many orders are in. If this is an issue, please email."

I think I'll e-mail in a week or two if nothing changes on my order status. I would have gone through nesreproductions.com but he requires a donor cart and I thought this other site might be faster.

doesn't take as long, if you have a donor cart......to give them.....

If you don't want to wait for a donor cart, just buy from Video Game Kingdom. Quick turn around time, High Quality product, and fair prices.

The NES prices aren't bad. High profile titles seemed to be marked up but whatever.

But take a look at the "trade in games for repro" prices. Holy Crap. Rip off.

$3 for Bubble Bobble 2
$4 for Faria
$4 for Pirates!
$3 for Little Ninja Bros.

I asked about that, the lists are according to the chip sets inside the cart. All of "Chip Set X" went in the $3 section, all of "Chip Set Y" went in the $4 section. So for instance, Bubble Bobble 2 uses a very common chipset. Now obviously no one in their right mind would donate a Bubble Bobble 2 cart......

They aren't trying to rip anyone off, it's just a list of the different chip sets.

"High Profile Titles" those ones that you consider marked up again aren't marked up because of the title, it's because of the complexity and type of chipset they use. Games like Earthbound and the Final Fantasy cartridges require more time to produce, as well as a special chipset with a battery. Other games are very basic and take not as much time, and use the more common chipsets.

Again, it's all about the chipset. Open up a "Golf" cartridge and open up a "Final Fantasy" cartridge, and you will see a difference right away.

When I ordered from VGK, got my games in maybe 8 days, and all worked well and look decent.
