Is Bleem worth anything?

I ran into a copy of that thing and picked it up. I haven't tried it out yet. I guess it's a program that you put into your pc that will allow it to play playstation games. I remember hearing about this back in the day and Sony was mad but some loophole allowed the makers of Bleem to go ahead with the thing even though the Playstation was already on it's way out.

Do you mean bleem for dreamcast...?

bleem was on pc too, the dc bleem came out for specific games only.

Its probably not worth anything. The idea was to play playstation games on your computer without the need for an actual playstation. I don't understand why Sony was so upset about it. You still needed to buy the actual games to play. We all know companies don't make money on the hardware but the games. Its the "give away the razor and sell the blades" mentality.

Today of course its a moot point since the PS1 isn't sold in retail anymore and used ones can be had dirt cheap but I suppose Bleem might be fun for trying out your games on a PC.

But I don't think it has any real world value, per se.

I pre-ordered Bleem for PC way back when and ended up selling that pre-order CD on ebay for $50 about 3 years ago. So, there is an audience for that.

I think Bleem would have been worth lots more back in the days when it was brought down by Sony.
Today, you can easily emulate Playstation 1 on a variety of consoles, however back then, this was the definative package you needed to play PS1 games without splashing out on a console.

Find the right collector though...

I would doubt it, BLEEM can be easily "obtained" online and free emulator offerings have far surpassed it in compatability and features...........

I do know that Bleemcast did fetch quite an amount on Ebay a few years back, mainly for the Tekken 3 and MGS versions.

So maybe those versions can raise in value, dunno about the PC program...

I don't think it's worth more than three bucks these days. The Bleemcast disks ARE worth money though.
