fo' sure. though I will agree that COD4 is a great and highly addictive single player shooter, probably has some of the best firefights in a game in recent memory. But really, and addictive game list without Goldeneye 64, Mario Kart 64, or StarCraft?

anyway, this list is retarded, i know girls that like to game and hate all of these, as well as girls who hate games comepletely, and one girl who likes 2 of em.

this list has nothing to do with fememinity, just a list of good games. gamepro has been a waste of paper (and now of internet bandwith) for decades.

I thought the list was ok. The website said that it is her favorite games and then she lists them. Gamepro isn't claiming that these are the best games for girls or that this is the definitive list.

I'm not Aussie2B but whatever I wanted to share in the fun.

1. Civilization II
2. Tetris
3. Azure Dreams
4. The Sims (1 or 2 doesn't matter)
5. Pirates!
6. Harvest Moon

Addictive based on the criteria that I can start playing the game at 6 in the evening and easily find myself still playing when the sun rises the next morning.

It's the simple game concepts that get you. All are repetitive, very tedious, but you keep on playing anyway.

I will say that Gamepro has fallen on hard times lately(the magazine probably won't last another year) but sometimes they make some pretty entertaining(see discussion starting) articles.

I'm not sure what I'd say are my most addictive games since even the ones I love to pieces I generally just play through once and put them away for many years, just because I have so many games waiting to be played.

But for a game that I can play for the rest of my life just to improve my top score, Centipede takes the cake.

If I have some friends around willing to play, I'm always up for any Mario Kart and can play for hours on end. I think I'd rank Mario Kart 64 as the most addictive, as it's got the best battle mode to me.

And just because I love them so much and because there's so dang much to do in them, I have hundreds of hours logged into Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile games, and I always go back to them when the mood strikes.

Other than that, most of my "addictions" are fleeting.

either that or one of the perks, i cant remember its been so long. im almost positive it was from the sidequest where you sleep w/ a bunch of women... (if i recall a mother & daughter at the same time).

damn those were 2 great games, i just finished 3 recently and it made me want to play 1&2 so much... gonna start them up after christmas.
