Can you use a standard genesis power supply to power the 32x?? I was going to try it, but thought I would ask first instead of wrecking the system. Thanks!

Only the power supply that is used with the Model 2 Genesis. (The smaller, squarish one without the headphone jack.)

Since that's been answered, I have anohter question, and rather than start a new thread.....
About the sega CDX...I know virtually nothing about this system, other than the fact that it plays Genesis and Sega CD games. Does it also play 32x games?

Actually, since my 32x is sitting in the cart slot of my CDX right now, I'd have to say that the CDX WILL RUN a 32x just fine.
IF you should run a 32x through a CDX system is another question entirely... the CD drive on the CDX stopped working for no apparent reason, even though it's been connected to the 32x for years.... very mysterious.

I ran my 32X through my Multimega (European version of the CDX) for ages with no problem. And nothing ever went wrong with it.
32X games will not play on the CDX / Multimega without the 32X adapter thoguh, if that is what you were asking....
