No, not cars in video games.

How many cars you can think of that share names with terms from video games?

My two examples:

#1 - Hyundai Genesis (new luxury car)
#2 - Toyota Paseo (Paseo was a city in the Phantasy Star series)

The car doesn't have to be based on the video game term, they just need to share nomenclature.

heresy, not knowing of the chevy nomad.

Hyundai Genesis (new luxury car)
hyundai and luxury in the same sentence = brain asplode, thus i can't think of any car names to add.

got a few:

chevy venture (2600 cart)
ford tempo (32x game)
mercury lynx (handheld)
dodge rampage (arcade)

and as far as hyundai's go... the hyundai's i worked on were cheap disposable cars. bland little econoboxes with nice interiors and decent features, but once something crapped out on the engine, it wasn't worth the money to fix them. they may have changed since then, but my initial experience with the brand has colored my view.

As a long-time Mustang fan and short-time owner, I had to dig out a Mustang game. I suppose it would be too easy to just pick one of the many 'Ford Mustang' racing games, so I'll go with:

Fire Mustang (Mega Drive)

For those dissing on Hyundai, when was the last time you really looked at them? I admit that awhile ago they were about the equivalent of what Kia is now, but they've changed quite a bit, starting around 2002-2005 (depending on which series). The Sonata and the Elantra are both great cars - almost approaching the quality of, say, Camrys or Accords.

Very obscure vehicle there.

There was also the sister truck, the Plymouth Scamp.

I have to say I agree with you. I'm not sure how they run, but they have a great warranty and the new lineup of Hyundai cars look quite nice, especially for the price.

I'm happy I went with my Subaru, but if I was trying to watch my funds a bit more I would have probably gone with a Hyundai.

Did I miss someone mentioning the Jaguar?
That was the first thing I thought of when I read the title.
