Pascal posted this link in another thread. And i just wanted to create a separate one for discussion.
http://www.sealedgameauctions.com/

Well. SGH started it's own auction website. Mostly as a replacement for the buy/sell/trade/whatever section on it's forums (it has grown a lot).

In case you don't know - SGH is Sealed Game Heaven - community of sealed game collectors. NOT affilated with VGA by any means.
big thread here:
http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104297

For all of you who wonder like "what the hell? another auction site??".
I also a bit skeptic here, but this service is not intended for rivalry nor competing with gamegavel or chasethechuckwagon.
It's more like a substitute and additional service for the needs of the SGH itself (e.g buying/selling sealed stuff).
Yet it definitely can be useful for all the casual game sellers/buyers. Cause you can list used stuff as well.

With the insane ebay search engine i think it is not a bad idea for a thing like this. A place where you can buy truly new games without a big trouble and pain in the ass.

Let me know what you think about it.

Ohh and i forgot one important thing. The site is almost totally free. The only thing which costs..... 0,1$ are featured and bold listings. Just to prevent featured invasion :)

This would be cool if people treated it like an actual auction and not just "starting bid = $1000" or "starting bid = $1 reserve price = $1000" and 81 day auctions? Really???

BTW, you ought to fix your sig. It goes like this: url=www.blahblahblah]words go here[ /url

That's what many of us do. An auction is all about bidding and the possibility of getting a bargain or selling for much more than you thought something might. It's not an auction site if people are just listing items with a high buy it now or reserve. At that point, you're better off listing on Amazon or on a message board with a fixed price.

yeah I totally agree!
Just spread the word! So more people can start their $1 game auctions for free!
