Neo Geo Unibios 2.0 + joystick odd problem?

I'm having an odd problem with a Neo Geo AES system. The system is modded with Stereo and S-video out. It also has Unibios 2.0.

Everything on the system works fine with one of my two controllers plugged into the first slot.

With the other one plugged in, once start is pushed and the Unibios screen comes up, the game freezes up and I can not press C to continue. Nothing on the controller will respond.

This controller will work just fine if plugged into the second slot though.

I'm more or less just curious as to why this is happening.

I can't recall how exactly the Uni-bios works with button combinations and everything, so I can't grasp your issue. I would suggest sending a message to Razoola (the Uni-Bios guy), and see if he has any ideas. http://unibios.free.fr/

Wait... so this problem is limited to a specific controller? Like..

Controller A - works fine
Controller B - works as a P2 controller, but hangs the Unibios screen as P1

If so, run the built-in controller test and see if it's normal. If this isn't it, please restate your question in english :D

your bios is out of date...ill say alittle old....there up to 3.0 but 2.3 is still avaibale
