wondering what one of these is worth. i picked up a super nes control set for $25. i dont know if its complete but it has all the manuals (still sealed in a plastic bag), system (in the plastic bag but some yellowing on the top of the system) and 1 controller with all the cords (in plastic bags). besides the yellow top it looks mint. the box is near mint with all the styrafoam inserts.
im also wondering how hard is it to clean the top half of the system and if my set is complete. thank you.

That yellowing seems to be a defect in the plastic itself. So, cleaning isn't really an option. My conclusion after thinking about it a bit is that the yellowing is due mostly to simple exposure to air of certain batches of the plastic. Light exposure can contribute, too, but even one always kept in the box can yellow.
You could just do what some douche on CL around here tries, and sell it as a special Zelda edition. Doesn't sound like yours is bad enough, though.

no its a very light yellow. and theres nothing on the bottom of the system. im looking to sell this so if anybodys interested pm me.

Didn't want to start a new thread but does anyone know the value of a boxed (not complete, missing inserts and manuals) SNES 2 is worth?

A complete in good condition SNES 2 is worth at least 60 usd ... but with box only may be closer to 40 usd

It is nice and minty clean. Just no inserts and manuals. The rest is there but I only paid $20 so I still did well. Now to preform a RGB mod as they don't support it out of the box. :-/

grrr i looked again thru the snes and well it only contains the power cord and the light doesnt come on so well its going back to goodwill...damn i was so happy. ive never found a boxed snes around here...

I had a mint complete boxed unused SNES model 2 that I put on ebay and got....
$40 + shipping :(
