Unusual saturn box?

I thought I'd seen nearly everything for the Saturn... but I've never seen this. When did they issue this box, and how many games had it?

It's PAL. I have that exact game floating around somewhere. They are about the same size as the US cases, but the manual is HUGE, because it was in 4-5 languages.
