MGS 4 problem.

I've installed it, Listend to the Mission briefing, And I click start new game, But it goes to a bunch of different channels, Any help??

I think that is normal. They last for a little bit while loading and then you are set to go. I know, it's weird crap isn't it?

So after I waited 8 minutes to install then press new game I have to watch the videos til it's done?.

yes, it's a bit annoying but stick with it. switch to the octopus channel!

Channels are part of the intro FMV - set the "tone" for the gameplay world.

Which means 20+ minutes of watching weird crap, yes. ;)

I did enjoy them though.

MGS4 is ALL videos. There's only maybe 15-20 minutes...tops, of actual gameplay.

well, Kojima said this game was for "FANS" of the series. No average would be able to take all the cut-scenes without getting Bord. Also he wanted to tie up all unanswered questions.
Also this is kinda odd to hear about the different channels thing,since I didn't have that with mine. Maybe I did and forgot it's been awhile since I played the FULL story. BTW: what Act are you on so I can find out if this happened to me?

oh that. I thought it was in a certain act. I remember now, right in the beginning. You don't have to watch it, just skip to a certain channel and it starts the game.
