The weird thing is: some people swear up and down how the 60 gigs go for $600-800. However, based on my own craigs list and several ebay completed auctions I regular see the 60 gigs for no more than $450 max, and sometimes that even includes games. You can still find one that sells in the $500-600 range once in a blue moon, but for the most part I'd say $350-450 is the average going rate for 60 gig PS3's.

It's a pain that it didn't come with anything better than composite but i snatched up an hdmi cord for $5 right after the auction ended so i should be fine.

I absolutely never buy refurbished electronics on ebay. Far too many bad experiences, especially now that I don't have the time or motivation to fix it when it inevitably breaks. I'd rather spend the extra 10-15% and just buy a brand new system.
