Anyone playing Lumines Supernova (PSN)?

This came out last week in other countries and just came out here yesterday. I bought it, downloaded it (and the free "Holiday" pack) and have been playing it a bit. I gotta say I like it so far. Using the D-pad for the game is much easier than using the 360 d-pad for Lumines Live. Anyone else get it?

I have Lumines Plus on PS2 and I was wondering if this was worth upgrading to. Have you compared it to that?

Lumines Plus on the PS2 was basically the big screen version of the first PSP game. It was still pretty good...

Lumines Supernova is still tried-and-true Lumines (as are all the other versions). It compares mostly to Lumines Live on the 360 Arcade. They gave it a nice new title screen, 3/4 perspective options menu, etc. The game itself feels easier to control than the Live version and a bit more smooth. The new modes added are nice (like Dig-Down) as well. The skins/songs themselves seem to have been going at the rate of "one new one/one old one" which is on par wit the Live version. $14.99 may seem pricey for it, but its actually pretty good since you also get the "Holiday pack" for free.

When all is said and done, it's Lumines as usual. If you like the Lumines series, you most likely will like this as well.

Unfortunately, Q? has never resolved the song disputes over Lumines subsequent releases meaning that Lights, Music in My Soul, and the first skin (song name escapes me) have never been rereleased.

But because I'm such a Lumines nut, I'll probably be buying the PSN release this week (I've got Lumines I/II on PSP, Lumines Plus on PS2, and Lumines Live! on 360. Also owned the cell phone version back when it was offered on the Verizon network). Is there anything new at all over the other releases?
