View Full Version : New 360 D-pad shipping with Jaspers?
I got a Jasper Arcade unit today at Best Buy, and the D-pad on the controller is fantastic compared to the other 360 controllers I have. Each direction gives a satisfying tactile "click" then it snaps promptly back to center after release.
I don't know if it's just a fluke, though. Did I just get lucky, or has MS changed something? Anyone else with a Jasper care to comment?

No these have been in production for quite some time, finally glad to see one out there, though.

Any way to be sure to get one? Maybe those packaged set red controllers, or the funky walmart exclusive ones?

Its not the same as the "new" d-pad that is in the Green controller that was available in europe. I have the Walmart exclusive and it does feel better then the older 360 controllers I have, but its not the same as the green euro one. Either way, its still kinda shitty.

Is the Wal Mart exclusive pad that black and white one with the dragon and such junk on it?
From what I read the limited edition green euro pad really didn't turn out to be a huge improvement, it just went from 8 way to 16 way but didn't change any of the core flaws with the current D-pad setup. Did I read wrong?
