What's the scoop on Resident Evil 2 and 3 for the Gamecube?

I've noticed a lot of collectors seem to be snatching up copies of RE 2 & 3 for Gamecube. I also know that the only store I've seen them at is Hastings, and they only had one of each (I got them both). Even Gamestop here won't sell them.

So what's the scoop? Rare? Maybe Rare?

Wouldn't be surprised, they came out with such a RIDICULOUS price, that noone bought them, and I bel;ieve it had a fairly small production run. The prices for these on ebay have stayed the same as the sticker price since day one.

Curse you Charlie! Now I'll have to look into getting them.

For the record I still see them pretty much everywhere. But, as Sylentwulf mentioned, they're overpriced. I don't know why Capcom thinks a re-released game is going to fly off the shelf at full price. Maybe they thought GC buyers were the same as GBA buyers :)

I looked yesterday and saw 3 I think for the same price it's always been: $50 CAD. And nope, I still didn't buy it.

I don't know what a "Hastings" is, but the Best Buys, EB's and GameStops around here can't seem to get rid of them. You can also buy them online, but the price is just awful anywhere you look.

They were in every shop QoF and I went to in the last week, usually selling for no less than $35 each...
